SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed concerning the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the SRD lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance place designed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who sassa status go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
